The unit is equipped with a brushless motor and features a 4mm orbital (eccentric) stroke. It includes a constant-speed function, which maintains a stable rotation speed even when the load changes—making it ideal for large-area sanding tasks, such as on walls.
Does the machine have a built-in dust collection system? How effective is it?
It does not have a self-contained vacuum system; it must be connected to an external vacuum cleaner using the provided quick-connect adapter and hose. When connected to a vacuum, it achieves over 90% dust collection efficiency. The backing pad is perforated to further enhance dust collection; we recommend using it with mesh sanding discs.
How do the speed control and power switch work? Is it safe?
Speed is adjusted via push-buttons (increase/decrease) with 6 settings, ranging from 4,000 to 8,500 RPM. It includes an LED speed display and a memory function that recalls your last speed setting. The power switch features a safety-interlock design: it requires an initial press to start, and can be locked for continuous operation. Can it be used to sand ceilings? What is the difference between "single-channel" and "dual-channel" modes?
The unit includes a toggle for single-channel and dual-channel modes. Single-channel mode is designed for walls, while dual-channel mode is intended for ceilings (though it can also be used for walls). In ceiling-sanding mode, the machine utilizes suction to adhere to the surface, reducing the physical strain on the operator. The head can tilt 180° vertically; please refer to the final product page or technical specifications for details regarding lateral (side-to-side) rotation.
What are the dimensions and weight of the unit? Is it tiring to use for long periods?
The unit is 1.65 meters long and weighs 3.2 kg. Thanks to the ceiling-suction feature and an ergonomic grip design, the physical burden of extended overhead work is significantly reduced. The internal circuit board includes a heat-dissipation system to ensure reliable performance during prolonged use.
